is a public university with education and research as main activities. It combines a long and fruitful tradition, more than 700 years of history, with a young and dynamic structure benefiting from educational formation and research into improvements in quality and advanced methods. Our aim is to provide high standards of teaching with services that benefit all students and benefit of society beyond the campus gates. In this line, the University created in 2007 the programme UdlxTothom [UdL for everybody], the main objective of this programme is to promote higher education for those disable students and the university aligns all the university policy to ensure the support to students with special needs and provides aids to facilitate the inclusion of the students with special needs.<\/p><p>SPISEY works with experienced researchers from the Faculty of Education, Psychology and Social Work. This faculty focuses on serving society by delivering initial training, continuous and permanent training for teachers of early education, secondary teachers and social educators, social workers, psych-pedagogues and psychologists. The Faculty is a reference point for teaching innovation, methodological change and improvement of teaching in inclusive education schools.<\/p><p>Besides, the UdL team belongs to the\u00a0 <strong>COnTIC<\/strong>\u00a0 research group (Context and Cognition mediated by Information and communication technologies) that focus its research on studying the role of ICT in helping all future citizens to reach new cognitive exigencies and digital competences to better achieve their insertion and success in the scholar, social and professional world.<\/p><p>As a Faculty of Education, SPISEY will create an inspiring context to better train primary and secondary teachers capable to design an inclusive education. Nowadays, she leads the Context and Cognition with ICT research group (web site: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.contic.udl.cat\/\">www.contic.udl.cat<\/a>). Her research interests are based on how ICT shape subject\u2019s cognition and can act as powerful tool to develop singular cognitive and social processes to all students. In this topic of study, she has led different R+D projects and published high-rated articles.<\/p>\n<p>Currently she is researching on pedagogical and technological design for supporting and promoting collaborative creativity processes with technology. He has an extensive experience in management responsibilities at Universitat de Lleida (director of the department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Vice-bachelor of the Universitat de Lleida). His main interests of investigation are focused on Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) at university. In this area of research he has led several projects.
